Al termine del Biennio di secondo livello in COMPOSIZIONE lo studente dovrà aver ampliato le conoscenze sulle tecniche compositive e le capacità di comprensione della letteratura musicale contemporanea già acquisite nel Triennio di primo livello e dovrà essere in grado di elaborare idee musicali originali, anche in relazione con altri ambiti del pensiero ed eventualmente all’interno di contesti teatrali e/o multimediali.
Tutto ciò convergerà nel progetto compositivo presentato all’inizio del corso e realizzato nell’arco del biennio, inteso come messa a fuoco delle proprie personali inclinazioni stilistiche ed estetiche.
Lo studente dovrà inoltre avere sviluppato una propria riflessione sul significato artistico e culturale del comporre oggi, nonché la capacità di esprimere e comunicare con linguaggio appropriato le proprie idee al riguardo.
Lo studente dovrà infine aver sviluppato una propria autonoma capacità di studio e di approfondimento costante delle proprie conoscenze.
Il Diploma dà accesso ai concorsi per il pubblico impiego, al mondo del lavoro artistico e ai corsi del 3° ciclo.

Educational Objectives:
Upon completion of the Second-Level (Master’s) Biennium in Composition, students will have expanded their knowledge of compositional techniques and strengthened their ability to understand contemporary music literature, building upon the skills acquired during the First-Level (Bachelor’s) Triennium. They will be able to develop original musical ideas, including in connection with other fields of thought and, where appropriate, within theatrical and/or multimedia contexts.
All of these competencies will converge in the compositional project presented at the beginning of the program and developed throughout the two-year course. This project is intended as an opportunity to refine and define the student’s personal stylistic and aesthetic inclinations.
Students will also have developed their own critical reflection on the artistic and cultural significance of composing music today, as well as the ability to express and communicate their ideas on this subject using appropriate terminology and language.
Finally, students will have acquired an autonomous approach to study and the ability to continuously deepen and expand their knowledge independently.
Career Opportunities:
The Diploma provides access to public-sector competitive examinations, professional opportunities in the artistic field, and third-cycle (doctoral-level) study programs.
